Annual SinaiPromise Membership Renewal Form 2025-2026

Information about SinaiPromise Membership Renewal

You won’t find a traditional synagogue dues structure at Temple Sinai. In its place, we have adopted "SinaiPromise Membership" -- a pledge we make to each other as a community to contribute what we can to support our temple, clergy, and programs. These pledges are the building blocks for our being a “Kehillah shel Chesed,” a caring, inclusive community.

With this approach, you receive information about the cost of running Temple Sinai and the average amount each member household would need to contribute to sustain it for the coming year (the "sustaining amount"). Members are then asked to contribute what they can to maintain our community.

Sustaining Amount:
In order to sustain Temple Sinai—our staff, programs and facility—we ask that all our members who can do so contribute at or above the sustaining level of support.
  • The 2025-2026 sustaining amount for a one-adult household is $2,790*
  • The 2025-2026 sustaining amount for a two-adult household is $4,405*
*subject to approval at the Annual Meeting.

Please Renew Regardless of Your Chosen Contribution!
We value your membership regardless of the amount of financial commitment! If the sustaining amount is not right for your or your family now, please make a pledge and payment reflecting your financial ability and the meaning that being a part of the Temple Sinai community provides you. If you want to be a member, then you can be assured that you will be welcomed warmly no matter the level of financial commitment.

Additional Contributions:

Our inclusive funding model depends on members who are able to contribute beyond the sustaining amount as part of their SinaiPromise Membership -- and/or in generous Annual Giving donations -- to fund our operating budget. These additional contributions allow us to continue our robust programming and services while maintaining our flexible membership dues. Please consider giving more if you are able.

Thank you! Thank you for your continued membership and for giving generously to help Temple Sinai be a Kehillah Shel Chesed -- a diverse and welcoming community built on inclusion and lovingkindness, welcoming all who seek Jewish life.

Option to Add Your Annual Campaign (Free-Will) Donation: If you would like to make your annual campaign (free-will) contribution at the same time as your Sinaipromise Membership, please do so below. Otherwise, skip this step and we encourage you to make an annual campaign contribution separately.

Donations make up over 1/3 of Temple Sinai's operating budget. This allows us to continue our robust programming and services while maintaining flexible membership dues. Please note: We recommend logging into your Temple Sinai account to renew and pay (you should see a "login" button at the top right of your screen). To pay by ACH (and avoid a 3% credit card fee), you must be logged-in. If you have trouble with this, we recommend going through the "forgot password" prompts. If you still cannot login and wish to do so, please reach out to info@sinaibrookline.org.
