Adult Learning - develops Jewish learning programs and classes for adults and families
Budget - Assists in preparation and review of the Temple’s annual operating budget
Building - Supervises the interior and exterior maintenance needs of the Temple
Caring Network - Helps at times of mourning, celebration, illness; provides meals, rides, makes phone calls.These are the acts that make us a community.
Communications/Publications Committee - Helps disseminate information via the Lu’ach and Kolot bulletins, via email, or in mailings
Education Committee - Assists the Education Director in overseeing the administration and policies of the religious school
Engagement Committee – Creates and supports activities to deepen and broaden connection within the Sinai community
History Committee – Helps safeguard documents and objects to preserve the Temple’s past
Inclusion Committee – Helps assure a welcoming and accessible environment at Temple Sinai for those with physical and mental disabilities
Israel Action/Education Committee – Provides learning and action opportunities regarding Israel for members of the congregation
Library Committee – Oversees the Temple’s Library and selects books for its collection
Membership Committee – Recruits the unaffiliated and develops programs to attract, retain and welcome new members
Music, Prayer and Ritual Committee – Helps shape the way music is integrated into the service now and for the future; addresses issues of worship and ritual
Rainbow Committee - Works to develop a warm and supportive LGBTQ-friendly culture within Temple Sinai
Security Committee – Helps to find and continue ways to keep our community safe
Tzedek@Sinai Committee – Works as a Jewish community on social justice issues such as criminal justice reform, climate change, food justice, affordable housing, affordable healthcare, income inequality and more.
Technology Committee – Designs and maintains the Temple website, membership database (ShulCloud) and provides support for other technical requirements
Youth Committee – Helps support the Temple Youth Advisor and develops programs for the informal education of the Temple’s young people

, our membership model, aligns our approach to financial support for Temple Sinai with our core value of being an inclusive community, welcoming all regardless of their ability to provide financial support.
In order to sustain Temple Sinai—our staff, programs and facility—we ask that all our members who can do so pledge the sustaining level of support (listed below).
For those who are able, we ask for an amount over and above the sustaining level.
For those unable to commit to the sustaining level, we ask that you do make a pledge reflecting your financial ability and the meaning that being a part of the Temple Sinai community provides you.
Pledged amounts do not need to be paid at once and can be spaced over the course of the year.
The sustaining amount for a one-adult household is
